CYPRESS CREEK - FEATURE FILM

JESSICA WILLIS ON THE SET OF CYPRESS CREEK
What character did you play ?
JESSICA -
"I played Tina. As Gerald put it, she is kinda the Cartman of the group."
How did you prepare for the role?
JESSICA -
"Acting wise I typically used Meisner-based preperation techniques.Working with MGI is a unique and awesome experience so I don't think there was any way to prepare for some of the practical effects. It's just something that has to be experienced. I know exactly how to read one of their horror scripts now."
How difficult was the shoot and being covered in blood nearly every scene ?
JESSICA -
"the shoot was really fun. It was a great cast and crew and the cabin was amazing. I loved hearing about all of the detail that went into production. And Oh the blood. At the beginning I was squirming and making silly faces while getting hosed down but by the end I think I actually suggested a few times that they put more blood on. It's not something I would want to do everyday but I appreciate the fact that they didn't skimp on details like that. I think I may still have a few pink bits in my hair. little momentos from filming. "
Any odd stories to tell about from filming ?
JESSICA -
"One of the locations we filmed on had lemurs running about. I have some pictures of cast members feeding fig newtons to them. So cute! I won't even get into the silly stories about the doll..."
